How likely is it for a facelift to cause nerve damage? What would this do to the face aesthetically?
Nerve damage after facial surgery is extremely uncommon. We have never had a permanent facial weakness after this type of surgery. There’s often a mild degree of numbness of the face in the first few days or perhaps even weeks after surgery, but this is a very limited experience and resolves with time. Again, a motion weakness after the surgery would be extremely uncommon.
