This patient had a lower Blepharoplasty procedure performed.
Patient demonstrates both upper and lower eyelid tucks, and the bags/pouches in the lower lids tend to give the patient a tired appearance. The post-op photos show a much smoother lower lid contour. The Blepharoplasty technique we use in our office has many unique developments that we have used for over 10 years. Our technique has been presented at national meetings. The goal of our surgery is to take the excess fat bulges and move them into the grooves or hallows that create a significant shadow on the face which gives a tired appearance. Repositioning the fat in this way provides a very youthful and flattering appearance. Simply removing the fat can create a hollowed eye and aged appearance. Her upper lids have been done and create a much more open countenance. She no longer looks stern or angry. Her make-up is more flattering.
