Do you think that an endoscopic browlift will last a lifetime or would surgery be needed later?

Question
Do you think that an endoscopic browlift will last a lifetime or would surgery be needed later?

Answer
Your question about an endoscopic brow lift is very appropriate and applies to all soft tissue rejuvenation procedures. With the passage of time, elasticity is lost and the skin loses tone in the forehead. In the brow area, this presents as prominent forehead creases and eyebrows that produce a more sad or tired appearance than desirable. A brow lift repositions these tissues in a more aesthetically appealing position. With the passage of time, there will be some recurrence of laxity but it is very rare that patients need this to be addressed in less than five to eight years.  This is also true to face lift surgery and blepharoplasty surgery. In each of these procedures, the goal of the surgery is to reposition and tighten the tissues knowing that over time some laxity will recur.
